Resolved to approve priorities – 1) speeding vehicles and widening of pavement on Hallatrow Bridge 2) review of speed limits in Hallatrow 3) safer walking in the parish.

Resolved to approve the same contractor as 2023 to dress trees and the same 2023 contractor for installation and disposal of trees. Both quoted costs the same as 2023.

2409.14 To receive any updates on district matters from Ward Cllr Ann Morgan
Ward Cllr Morgan reported that she will be chasing up fire and police reports re the Roswewell incident, and a resident has made a formal complaint to B&NES due to lack of response to an enquiry submitted re a planning application for Hallatrow Business Park.

- Allotments – [TO RESOLVE] to consider and decide request from allotment owner, of bottom of plot C, to be able to work top and bottom of plot C should top of plot C become available
Resolved that a whole plot would only be offered to a resident if there was no-on on the waiting list and no takers if the plot was advertised. P Ghillyer to assess allotments re tree shading.
- Recreation Ground
K Fuglesang reported that guttering replacement has been delayed. The Council noted tath outdoor gym equipment would be a useful addition to the play area.

- Grass and Cemetery
The Council noted the recent facebook post about a crack in the wall surrounding the cemetery and will forward to the Church.

- Greyfield Wood
C Lindley reported that ash cutting is taking place, some tree fall due to the wet and wind, and strimming is taking place.
- Environmental Group
R Lane reported a quiet Repair Cafe with 13 items seen and 10 fixed. A stall was held at the Village Day which recruited new members. Two bat walks took place, and one planned for tomorrow, the bike surgery is continuing, and the cemetery meadow is due to be scythed.
- Parish sweeping
The Council agreed to request a cost to clear the footpath from Butlass Close to Southover Road.
- Highway/footpath Issues – {TO RESOLVE] to consider and decide purchase of more durable speed camera signs and to have them fixed professionally
Resolved to approve the purchase of 3 signs at £54.99 fixed professionally, with fixing sites identified as Hallatrow HIll and Paulton Road. The Council agreed to consult with the speed watch team on locations.
- Transport/buses
The Council noted a new timetable came into effect on 1 September.
- Neighbourhood Plan
S Gould reported that the plan is through to the second part of the consultation with the next stage being an independent examiner report and then finally a referendum.

The Council noted one vacancy and any interested residents to contact the Clerk or any Councillor.
- Improving Communication with the community
The Council noted feedback from facebook works well and engagement via the News & Views.
- Hallatrow polling station
The Council noted that the decision for no polling station in Hallatrow was made by electoral services.
- Village planters funded by Ward Councillor fund
Ward Cllr Morgan to chase up the transfer of funds.
2409.16 Correspondence
1) Request via online form re extending double yellow lines from main road to Eastover Road due to cars parking near Eastover Road entrance causing vision issues for traffic entering and leaving Eastover Road
The Council agreed that extending the lines was not necessary.
